Our Response to COVID-19

What we are doing at Canadian Home Healthcare to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and continue to safely serve you

A message from the CEO,

At Canadian Home Healthcare, our clients’ health and safety is always our top priority. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken new measures in order to support the government’s actions to control the spread of the coronavirus. We are continuing to make sure that our clients receive their equipment while strictly following the measures and precautions recommended by healthcare authorities.

CHH will remain in operation; however, as of March 20th, our office doors are closed to clients until further notice to protect our clients, their families, and our team. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause and we are taking the following necessary steps to continue to safely serve you. We have made changes to our oxygen and CPAP services for the duration of the pandemic.

For our oxygen clients:

  • Provide oxygen set-ups and in-home visits when required: Employees are following guidelines from healthcare authorities to ensure your safety. We are prepared with personal protective equipment and will maintain a distance of 2 meters when possible
  • In-person assessments when necessary, other assessments will be done by phone
  • Our team will continue to follow strict guidelines when disinfecting equipment before and after assessments
  • Oxygen delivery: To help minimize contact to protect our clients and employees we ask that, if possible, clients place their oxygen equipment outside to be exchanged and we will leave new equipment in its place
  • If there is a problem with equipment we will complete equipment checks
  • We will not request signatures for the delivery of supplies

  • For after-hours emergency service please call: 1-800-268-5003

For our CPAP clients:

  • Continue to serve urgent CPAP therapy clients
  • Remote set-ups on a priority basis will continue to be available for those who wish to start their CPAP therapy
  • Regular in-person follow-up and CPAP initiation will be delayed until further notice
  • Consultation and clinical review with your sleep physician with a priority on urgent CPAP requests
  • System and mask trials will not be available during this time
  • Our team is following guidelines from healthcare authorities to ensure your safety. We are prepared with personal protective equipment and will maintain a distance of 2 meters when possible
  • We will not request signatures for the delivery of supplies
  • CPAP clients can call: 1-800-268-5003
