Canadian Red Cross Society

The Canadian Red Cross is a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (the Movement)—which includes the International Committee of the Red Cross, 186 national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
The Canadian Red Cross assists millions of people around the world through its Disaster and Conflict, Health and Injury Prevention and Humanitarian Issues Programs as well as outreach programs tailored to meet the needs of individual communities across the country.
In keeping with the Fundamental Principles of the Movement, the Canadian Red Cross is committed to social justice and diversity and has served Canadians since 1896. Volunteer members govern the Society at all levels.
